How to get the SBI Cashback Card Lifetime Free (LTF)?

has anyone here actually managed to convert their SBI Cashback card to LTF?? I am hitting around 1L spends monthly blindly on amazon/flipkart, but these guys are still asking for the ₹999 renewal fee.

Is there a trick or specific email ID?

Call customer care and fake a cancellation request. They will instantly transfer you to the retention team and usually offer LTF or a fee reversal manually if your spends are >1.5L anyway 💀. worked for me last month!

Thanks man! Tried this today. Sent an email to nodal officer and they reversed the fee without making it permanent LTF. Better than nothing I guess!
